2 Western Balkan Countires have a very favorable geographical, climatic, hydrological and ecological conditions and physico-chemical characteristics of watercourses for intensive production of freshwater fish.  20,000 km of rivers and streams (Sava - 355 km; Drina - 346 km, Bosna - 308 km; Vrbas - 240 km; Una - 207 km)  400 ha of lakes (Buško, Visegrad, Jablanica, Modrac)  1400 ha of sea
