Who was Nelson Mandela??? Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was born in Tranaskei, South Africa in the year 1918. He joined and became part of the African National congress in 1944. He was one of the first people to rebel against the National Party’s decision about the apartheid policies in 1948. He then developed a campaign for anti apartheid, soon he got elected for president of the ANC in 1991.

What did Mandela do to become a Revolutionary? Nelson Mandela was looked at as a revolutionary because he rebelled against the African congress about their decisions about apartheid policies. He was a revolutionary leader because he had the potential to motivate and enable people to fight for their rights considering strongly the Democratic process.

When did Nelson Mandela become a Revolutionary??? He was basically a revolutionary all his life. He fought against the south African government to stop apartheid policies. The rebellious actions first began in 1948 when he fought against the National Party’s decision about the apartheid policies. He became a revolutionary president of the African National Congress because he was anti apartheid and fought against the policies the government made.

He formed a group to fight for the rights of non whites in south Africa. He also became the president of the African National Congress after the conflict between whites and non whites has settled
