Thriller Analysis BY RHYS FUNNELL

Sound  Sound that you’d expect too hear in a thriller film in particular is usually quite intense and maybe starts off slowly and build up really quickly so for example the pace of the sound gets faster and can hold certain emotions to the music playing.

Se7en  For example in the film se7en starring Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman there is a chase scene where as the chase gets further in the music become much more serious and tense almost as if they’re trying to make you feel as if you was actually there seeing it for yourself

Editing  During editing that is when directors/editors tend too use sound effects and for example in se7en stuff like gunshots are usually put in after the film and used timely too make it seem as realistic as possible.

Cinematography  Cinematography is the art or science of motion picture photography. It is the technique of film photography, including both the shooting and development of the film and dates from the 19 th century onwards. I se7en From what I can tell his technique for day exteriors is throwing up a lot off diff over as much of the onscreen area as possible and using rain machines.
