Standards – where are we?  12 employers  Agreed continued use of diploma quals  Adult Care Worker and Lead ACW Standards published (Dec 2014)  Permission granted to work on Lead Practitioner and Leader/Manager (submission June 2015)  Assessment strategies work underway  End point and independent assessment – how?

What’s next?  Design end-point assessment  Decide who will be the end-point assessors  Allow time for all parties to prepare for delivery  Submit funding proposal  Await government decision on maths / English requirements  July 2015?: Adult Care Worker / Lead Adult Care worker assessment plans approved and published  Switch off existing frameworks?  Start delivery of first two standards (Autumn 2015?)  Submit standards for higher apprenticeships (June 2015)  Develop assessment plans for higher apprenticeships (Autumn 2015)
