Introduction Our class will be getting a new student from Mexico City. He has never been to the United States and we need to help him become familiar with the United States and it’s landmarks. U.S. Landmarks Task You are going to help our new student learn about our country. Think about some things he should know about the U.S.A. In class we will be reading book about the U.S.A. In your group you will look up information on the internet about U.S. landmarks. Each person in your group will have a specific job. You will each research your landmark. Then share with your group what you have learned. Your group will share which 4 landmarks you agree are important. You will each make a poster using glogster.com displaying the symbols you have chosen. (See sample)glogster.com You can either draw your symbols out or use Microsoft office task launcher to find the brochure and type up facts and insert pictures.
