The conflict between Pakistan and India Anna Selezneva performed

Causes of conflict ► The main cause of conflict is a dispute over the origin of region of Kashmir. At the end of the war years , India gained control of about two thirds of the region, the rest retreated to Pakistan. The Kashmir conflict led to tension relations between two countries and has continued to this day.

History of conflict ►D►D►D►During the conflict, there have been three major wars: The first Indo-Pakistani War (the First Kashmir War, ) The second Indo-Pakistani war (the Second Kashmir War, 1965) The third Indo-Pakistani War (1971) - is associated with the war for the independence of Bangladesh Since 1984, has continued low-intensity border conflict on the Siachen Glacier, a characteristic feature of which was that the bulk of both sides suffered losses not due to enemy action, but from the harsh climatic conditions.

► From 2003 to Siachene effect a cease-fire. In 1999, Pakistan was triggered Kargil war, but unlike the three previous armed conflicts, it was not wearing a broad nature. Pakistan has officially denied involvement of its regular army into it.

►I►I►I►Indo-Pakistani conflict at the beginning of the XXI century exacerbated by the fact that both of the states have developed nuclear weapons and are actively building up their military power. Today, military supplies of Pakistan carries out of the U.S., and the supply of arms of India, Russia carries out, but Pakistan is showing increasing interest in a possible military-technical cooperation with Russia and the U.S. are attempting to oust Russia from the Indian arms market.
