Lisbon Key Facts and some History Lisbon (Lisboa) is the capital and largest city of Portugal. Population 2.8 million Time zone – Lisbon is in the same Zone as London, 1 hour behind Paris and 5 hours ahead of Boston It is the political center of the country, as seat of government and residence of the Head of State. Lisbon was under Roman rule from 205 BC, when it was already a 1000 year old town. Ruled by a series of Germanic tribes from the 5th century, it was captured by Moors in the 8th century. In 1147, the Crusaders under Afonso Henriques reconquered the city for the Christians and since then it has been a major political, economic and cultural center of Portugal. Product Objectives / Priorities Launch EPIC to the world stage, –Our newest product with huge potential –CIRSE is the first chance to promote EPIC to a mass International Customer base –Therefore EPIC will be the Key product focus at CIRSE Promote the PE Triad –A new range of product offering with a good fit to the CIRSE program and attendees –The PE Triad of Interlock, Fathom and Renegade STC will form the focus of our Oncology Activity at CIRSE Highlight our PTA offering – Focusing on Sterling as our flagship PTA brand –Supported by our Advanced Technologies of PCB and PolarCath

Booth Strategy The goal is a paper and product free booth Except for Lead forms and in the demonstration room Designed around 3 Key Zones Working Stations, product based focal points to attract interest these will host a large touch screen kiosk for product presentations, Demonstration Room, a semi private area of the booth designed for product demonstrations providing space for more intimate discussions with Customers Welcome desk and Social Area a meeting space to welcome customers to the booth There will also be Mobile Workstations available Around the booth there will be several product showcases highlighting the breadth of our range

Working Stations This year we will have two types of Working Stations –Fixed Working Stations Incorporating large touch screen kiosks which will be pre loaded with multiple product presentations –Mobile Working Stations Small portable touch screen PCs, again pre loaded with multiple product presentations, which will allow product discussions anywhere on the booth. –Both types of working stations will be loaded with the same presentations –These presentations will be sent out to all BSC attendees in early September to allow you to familiarise yourselves with the content and the user interface

Booth Duty Rules and Expectations Please see the separate file for all Booth Duty Allocations, this file will also be available at the pre meeting and will be displayed on the Booth Please arrive early for each shift. Please do not leave the booth until your replacement has arrived. Please ensure that the booth is clean and tidy at all times. The booth is intended to meet physicians not for BSC Staff Meetings. –We have a separate Meeting room for this purpose (Room 1.12) Please ensure that all visitors to the booth are greeted in a professional and timely manner, even if they are not your customers. The booth is to remain product and brochure free at all times. Product demonstrations and detailed discussions are to take place in the demonstration room. If you are unable to do your shift on the booth please arrange for cover and inform the Booth Captain with your replacements name. Please try to minimise the number of bags left on the booth, storage space is tight and there is a bag storage facility in the congress centre Don’t leave the booth unattended, organise any breaks with the booth captain.

Roles and Responsibilities Working Station duties To greet customers on the booth, to gauge their interest, to initiate product discussion and to take leads To ensure the tidiness of the general booth area Demonstration Room duties To greet customers entering the demonstration, to gauge their interest, to initiate product discussion and demonstrations and to take leads To ensure the tidiness of the Demonstration room and availability of products The above duties are meant to be interchangeable, if someone is discussing a product on the working stations and this leads to a product demonstration then whoever is covering the demonstration room is expected to then cover the working station (and vice versa). The idea is to maintain a continuum of service avoiding the need to hand off the customer between ourselves for consistency and flow Learning Centre / VR Suite duties To welcome customers to the learning centre, to lead and assist physicians on the VR simulators, to link this activity back to products and to take leads Booth Captain To manage the running of the booth activities for that shift, to insure that the booth is fully staffed and equipped, to help out on the booth during busy times Supervisors To provide technical support and be present to assist in the case of emergency, supervisors are not expected to be on the booth / learning centre all day but to remain contactable and on site. They are expected to be available to assist on the booth during shift changes and busy times
