The solution complies with the FICA Act, is easy to use and will simplify the process for all Organisations, and ultimately their end clients. 3 Problem Statement The Fica process and application processes are frustrating for clients, inefficiencies and errors within organizations frustrate clients and create negative perceptions of the organization, a new channel is required to address this Since the implementation of the Financial Intelligence Centre Act organisations of all sizes have struggled to implement the requirements of the Act effectively. The effective implementation of the Act relies heavily on the organisations implementation of their KYC programs which has proven to be problematic, despite the fact that the Act provides clear guidelines on what is required, based on a KYC risk matrix. The FICA process is a frustrating exercise for financial institution’s and clients alike, as they are currently required to visit the financial institution in person in order to complete the most basic requirement of providing Identity documentation and proof of residence. The Act does however allow for client verification in ways other than presenting themselves at the financial institution. There are currently service providers assisting the financial institutions at a significant cost, by performing face to face verification services in the same way that a face to face credit card delivery is offered. Allows the end client to be verified or apply by logging into a secure session using any mobile device, PC, tablet PC or laptop using Google Chrome.
