Japan Invades China In 1931 Japan seized Chinese territory of Manchuria League of Nations condemned their action Japan withdrew their membership out of the League This incident will strengthen militarism in Japan

In 1937 Japan invades the mainland of China and puts in a puppet government in Nanjing Japan was so brutal in overtaking Nanjing that it became known as the Rape of Nanjing Japan continued to gain territory in China

Italy attacks Ethiopia In 1935 – Italy will attack Ethiopia The Ethiopian king appealed to the League of Nations League of Nations said that it would stop the sale of arms to Italy Not all nations in the League abided by this
