CREMATION PRODUCTS AND SERVICES Celebrating a life lived is an opportunity to express thoughts and feelings about a loved one and often brings a sense of peace and fulfillment to those in attendance. Choosing cremation does not eliminate other decisions you and your family want to make regarding a funeral or memorial service. In fact, cremation is simply the first of many decisions you will make as you share your grief and honor the memory of your loved one. Today’s typical cremation funeral service is a blend of religious ritual, community tradition, and a desire to memorialize the individual. We provide several service options. You determine Viewing and Visitation arrangements; Memorial or Prayer Services. Our compassionate staff is here to provide all of the necessary information so that you can select what is best for you and your family. You have many choices regarding the final resting place for cremated remains. Urns may be placed in a columbarium, a structure or room designed to contain cremated remains. Families can choose to bury the urn in a family plot or cemetery. The urn may be kept in another place of personal significance, such as the home or garden. Finally, subject to some restrictions, cremated remains can be scattered by air, over the ground or over water. Grave markers or monuments are another consideration, whether you choose to bury or scatter the cremated remains. We will answer your questions, assist in designing the service, and will oversee every detail for you. Whichever type of service you choose, it will become a tribute to your loved one and a comfort to family and friends.

3 IMPORTANT DECISIONS 1.Type of service to commemorate the life of your loved one 2.Type of casket or alternative container for the service chosen 3.Type of urn designed for permanent memorialization desired such as: BURIAL - Crafted to conform to placement in a cemetery NICHE - Designed for placement in the niche of a church or mausoleum HOME - For keeping in your private residence SCATTERING – Specially designed to facilitate scattering in a special location

ABOUT OUR PACKAGES 1.Unless otherwise stated, all of our packages include a charge for “Services of Funeral Director and Staff”. These services are quite comprehensive and include, but are not limited to: staff to respond to initial request for service 24 hours a day and 7 days a week; overhead expenses relative to our facilities such as professional licensing, legal and accounting fees, insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, taxes, equipment and inventory costs, and administrative costs. In addition, a funeral professional completes the transfer of the remains from place of death to our facility; completes the arrangement conference and places newspaper notices; secures legal paperwork, signatures, cremation permit; provides sanitary care and refrigeration for temporary secure storage; assures I.D.; dresses and places remains in casket or alternative container as selected by family; arranges clergy for memorial service, if desired; delivers remains to the crematory and files cremation paperwork; receives and holds cremated remains in temporary container or urn pending interment and/or return to family. 2.All of our packages include the charge for the “cremation process” itself and our funeral home remains responsible for the remains at all times. 3.Cash advances that we make on your behalf for items such as clergy Honoraria, organist, hairdresser, etc. are not included in our package prices. We have grouped these services and merchandise packages together because they represent the services most often selected by the families we serve. We can help you to design any type of service and merchandise combination that is most meaningful to you and those prices will be discussed as necessary.
