Life Sciences Practitioner Training Programme Mike Palmer Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust East Midlands MSC Early Adopters

 Now accredited by MEE. Also aiming for IBMS accreditation.  Placement content, learning outcomes and assessment based on MSC Training Manuals – use of online assessment tool, competency assessments etc.  NTU/DMU currently developing common Professional Practice Modules.  Working towards a seamless transition for those familiar with current integrated degree students (BSc Applied Biomedical Science).  Clinical Tutor to support students/placements.  Placement 1: March - 3 weeks. June - 5 weeks. Remainder made up of university workshops and visits to the 4 placement sites.
