5 BSc Healthcare Science – PTP Education Integrated degree 50 weeks placement in 3 years Most academic content shared with other programmes, eg Biomedical Science New modules needed in each academic year Some teaching will have to be double delivered

6 BSc Healthcare Science – PTP Training 10 weeks placement in year 1 15 weeks placement in year 2 25 weeks placement in year 3 Training will be delivered on site at the placement supported by the HEI Students will complete training/portfolio to allow regulation/registration on graduation

7 BSc Healthcare Science – issues for HEI Security of placements for all 3 years Lack of financial support / time for part time work for students Small cohort size New modules required that are not cost effective – especially year 3 Lack of input into curriculum / programme design
