Childhood Hera’s father is Cronos and her mother is Rhea although she did have 5 children who’s names were Ares, Hephaistos, Eris, Eileithyia. Hera married her brother who is now her husband. Hera persecuted many of the women that Zeus seduced in one way or another. Hera grew up in Titan Ocean and was raised by Tethys. Hera is a sister and a wife of Zeus. She was born to Cronos and Rhea but then swollowed by Cronos because he believed one of his children would over throw him just as he over throw his father.

How Hera was worshiped Hera is the goddess of marriage in Greek mythology. Hera got worshiped in the Holiest Shrine Argos in the Argolis (were she was raised) And in Samos Greek Island (where she was born). Hera prosecuted Hercules because Zeus was his father but another women was his mother.

Hera Hera’s Roman name was Juno. Hera like her other siblings was swallowed by her father Cronos as soon as she was born. Zeus with the help of Metis later tricked Cronos into a swallowing a potion that forced him to disgorge his offspring.

Hera‘s powers Hera also had many mystical energy wilding powers not all of which had been depicted, that may surpass thos4e of all other Olympian goddesses Hera possesses the conventional powers of the Olympian god’s including superhuman strength, vitality , longevity and resistant to injury

Why is Hera important to Greek mythology? Hera was the queen of the Olympians. Hera was very famous from where she is from people would praise everyday for no apparent reason. Hera was probably real bossy…

Hera’s symbols Some of these are Hera’s symbols from where she is from This is Hera’s temple in which people would praise her

Hera and the birth of Athena There were two versions of Hera’s reaction to the birth of Athena on the first she was furious that Zeus had produced a child alone, and she produced Hephaestus in response. In the second, Hera was pleased with the child. When Hera found out that leto was pregnant with twins by Zeus she was very angry. She banned leto from giving birth on any mainland or island that was known.
