URANUS was a terrible father and a jealous husband
Imprisoned the CYCLOPS deep in a cave in the Earth
GAEA conspires with her youngest child, CRONUS, to kill URANUS
CRONUS kills URANUS URANUS vows the TITANS will pay
Cronus dumps his body parts in the ocean

2. GREEK CREATION MYTHOLOGY
CRONUS become ruler of TITANS
Marries his sister RHEA
Both URANUS and GAEA prophesized that CRONUS will be overthrown by his son
Every child RHEA gives birth to, CRONUS swallows whole
After 5 swallowed children, RHEA hides herself and the baby, ZEUS, and gives CRONUS a stone to swallow
ZEUS, raised in secret by nymphs, plots will RHEA to save his siblings
RHEA and ZEUS give CRONUS a potion that causes him to vomit up the other OLYMPIANS
The war that follows, between OLYMPIANS and TITANS, ends with ZEUS releasing the CYCLOPS to defeat the TITANS
Imprisons the TITANS in TARTARUS for all time

3. The Titans The Titans: Also known as the Elder Gods
ruled the Earth before the Olympians over-threw them.
The ruler of the Titans was Cronus
dethroned by his son Zeus.
Most of the Titans fought with Cronus against Zeus
Exceptions: Prometheus, Epimetheus, Oceanus
During their rule the Titans were associated with the various planets.
