This is the screen you will see once you enter the website. Enter the name you want everyone to see and your address. Then click join.

This screen will always appear. If it is the first time you are using Webex on your computer this step could take a while, otherwise it only takes a few minutes. I always click the blue “click here” button but your computer may need one of the other steps. You may need to talk to your computer department.

An audio screen will pop up that looks like this (make sure your pop ups are not being blocked). Click “Use Computer for Audio”. Then click “Call Using Computer” button will show up.

You are now logged in and should be able to hear the presenter. A small phone will show up next you your name. UNLESS YOU ARE TALKING, PLEASE MUTE YOUR PHONE. Thank you.

This box will show up – you can minimize it. Notice now the headset in front of the your name. If you do not have a microphone on your computer no one will be able to hear you.

If you do have a microphone on your computer and others can hear you please MUTE by clicking on this microphone.

The arrow on the right of this box lets you pick who you want to chat with – Everyone or just one person privately. Once you have written your message and chose who you want to talk to – click on the send button.

College Goal Montana 2011

Here are all the recorded meetings – click on Jan. 4 CGM Webinar It should be the very first one on the top of the list.

Notice now you have this tab at the top of your screen. Anyone in the meeting can now see anything you bring up on your screen.

If you put your mouse on the green tab it brings down some options for you to stop sharing or pausing the session. If you click on the participants button the list of attendees shows up. If you click on the chat button this brings up your chat function.

Once the recording is finished you will want to read the script, minimize the recording and bring up the FASFA tips power point screen I provided you and just leave it up until all the families have completed their FAFSAs. Then once everyone is done and all are logged out of the meeting – you can stop sharing your screen (located in the tab at the top of your screen). Then click on End Meeting. *Make sure if it is prior to 8pm to call Candi or Brandon at the to let them know we are done – Good Job! Tip: you may want to have the ending word document open and minimized. Then you will be ready to pull it up after the recording is finished.

Last year we had 4 pilot high schools this year we have 34 sites participating throughout January and February. Hopefully, you have already signed in with your counselor or site coordinator this evening – if not, be sure to check with them before you leave. We will start with a 30 minute overview.
