Brush Well: A Look at Dental Care

Your teeth are important. Teeth help you smile, chew, and speak. Kids have 20 teeth. Adults have 32 teeth. Children’s Teeth Adult’s Teeth

A tooth has many parts. The roots grow under your gums. A crown is the top part of a tooth.

Teeth come in many sizes and shapes. A tooth helps you tear and bite your food.

Plaque is build up on your teeth. Sugar is bad for your teeth. A cavity is a broken piece of tooth.

Brushing your teeth helps keep away a cavity. Brush your teeth before you go to bed.

Toothbrushes are important to keep your teeth healthy. Get a new toothbrush every 6 months.

Dental floss removes food and plaque from your teeth. Floss your teeth every day.

Drink milk to keep your teeth strong. Candy, cookies and soda are not good for your teeth. Eat right to keep your teeth healthy.

Go to the dentist two times a year. A dentist can fix a cavity.
