About the overseas field trip  Organized by Geography Panel, CCSC  Travel agency: Wing On Travel  Dates: July 2007  Duration: 5-day-4-night  Tour area: around Kuala Lumpur & Malacca

Purposes of organizing overseas field trip  Widen your horizons  Apply geographical concepts in reality  Train your leadership skills  Improve your interpersonal skills  Develop sense of belonging / unity

About the itinerary  Tropical rain forest (1 day)  City tour (Kuala Lumpur) (1.5 days)  Rubber farm (0.5 day)  Cultural walk in Malacca (1.5 days)

Programmes to be confirmed  Cultural exchange with schools in Malacca

Preparation work before the trip    Late May  Mid-June  Early July  1 st briefing: handing out parents’ letters, confirmation of joining the field trip, allocation of responsibilities  Deadline for payment ($1,000)  Designing banner and T-shirt, collecting information to publish a tour magazine  Confirmation of design (banner + T-shirt)  Deadline for the second payment ($4,000)  Obtaining forms to declare health conditions, confirmation of personal information  Ordering of T-shirt + banner  Deadline for publishing the magazine  2 nd briefing: handing out the magazine, T-shirt, announcing group division, room allocation and other relevant matters
