English Language Synthesis Project for the Second Term In 7 TH Grade By: Bibiana Fajardo 3 rd Section English Teacher

Students will give a short persuasive speech based on an essay previously written. 1 st delivery: Start thinking (exploration) 2 nd delivery: Plan the show(Guided learning) 3 rd delivery: Presentation

SUBJECTENGLISH CONTENTS Reality TV, Survival, Good and Evil, Be Honest: Plan a TV show. PERFORMANCE Students are going to plan a new reality show that will be different from those already on TV. Uses a wide range of structures with full flexibility and accuracy. Shows great respect for the activities of the class, being punctual, behaving properly and being neat and organized in the deliveries.

ProductStudents will reflect about reality shows and start thinking about any other shows that involve real members of public rather than actors (reality shows). And will define: what kind of show they want to present, what is the topic of the show, what they will talk about. CharacteristicsIt has to include some aspects, which are: Name of the show, general topic and aspects to cover, Student's names. It has to be HANDWRITTEN in a neat piece of white (no lines)letter size paper. Each of the aspects and the topic have to be defined in grammatically correct SENTENCES not phrases or nouns. Date:Due Date: First class in 2 nd cycle (Apr. 8 th ) Evaluation criteria Neatness, legibility, completion of characteristics, use of English and punctuality will be evaluated.

ProductStudents will deliver a script of the show. CharacteristicsIt is expected to be handwritten in legible English, with an extension of 3 pages, including at least 2 sentences per character, in white letter size paper, together with the first stage of the project and its correction, in a white cardboard folder. Date:Due Date: First class in 3 rd cycle (Apr. 23 rd Evaluation criteria Neatness, legibility, completion of characteristics, use of English and punctuality will be evaluated.

ProductStudents will present the final version of the show. Characteristics It is expected to be present in understandable English, with an extension of 10 minutes per group, the script must be in white letter size paper, together with the first and second stages of the project, in a white cardboard folder. Date:Due Date: First class in 9 th cycle (Jun. 4 th ) Evaluation criteria Pronunciation, neatness, legibility, completion of characteristics, use of English and punctuality will be evaluated.
