Tutorial How to properly measure 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour

Step 1 Select a 1 t. measuring spoon, a straight edge spatula, and all-purpose flour.

Step 2 In one hand grasp 1 t. measuring spoon; scoop into flour container, being careful to overfill measuring spoon.

Step 3 Grasp straight edge spatula in other hand.

Step 4 Place straight edge spatula perpendicular to top of measuring spoon; aligning with edge closest to handle.

Step 5 Slowly scrape edge of spatula across top of spoon, removing any excess flour.
