Why men are heard and women are liked? This entertaining yet practical presentation will illuminate how men and women are wired to communicate differently, and how to capitalize on, rather than criticize these differences. This keynote goes beyond the usual focus on differences in communication styles of women and men. The focus will be on communication styles employed by highly successful people and how professionals can achieve their goals by engaging in the best communication tactics of the opposite sex. Mark your calendar: Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 6 p.m. here in Diamond Bar, CA More information and registration portal: citrusvalley.org/Dr--Lois-P--Frankel.htmlhttp:// citrusvalley.org/Dr--Lois-P--Frankel.html

New Research Project From OfficeTeam and IAAP! OfficeTeam and IAAP have partnered on a new research project, Office of the Future, that examines the evolving workplace trends impacting administrative professionals. This ongoing campaign will be rolled out in phases. The first installment focuses on evolving job descriptions and job titles. NEW!!! IAAP Achievement Award Give someone the recognition they deserve by nominating them for the IAAP Achievement Award! IAAP members who have demonstrated achievement over the course of the fiscal year are selected through a nominations process to receive the IAAP Achievement Award. This awards program recognizes contributions and achievements that exemplify IAAP’s vision, core purpose, and core values, and applauds excellence in the profession. The submission will consist of ensuring the member has met all nominations criteria, and an essay portion completed by the nominator. Once a member is notified of his/her nomination, he/she must provide an application for the award to provide documentation that the criteria for nomination have been met.
