UMCS contract for modernization of the Pentagon Scope includes: Design, engineering and commissioning of the Building Operations Control Center Metasys® building management system to measure and manage environmental comfort, energy usage and lighting control Upgrading indoor air quality and providing efficient lighting Monitoring and management of critical systems including fire protection and emergency lighting York® chillers for the refrigeration plant

Oak Ridge National Laboratory Oak Ridge, Tennessee ESPC project funded by $8.2 million in guaranteed annual savings Scope includes: Upgrading existing natural gas steam plant to a wood gasification biomass plant Upgrading outdated infrastructure in existing plant Upgrading existing steam distribution system Advanced metering networked to Metasys® building management system Reduces fossil fuel consumption by over 80%

Denver Federal Center Denver, Colorado Two-phase ESPC project with guaranteed energy savings of $450,000 per year Scope included: Lighting retrofits Upgraded HVAC equipment Installed new, high-efficiency chillers and pumps Recommissioned existing solar hot water heating systems Improved irrigation control system yielding water savings of nearly 11 million gallons per year Installed system to automate electric and gas meter readings in all major facilities

NASA Ames Research Center Moffett Federal Airfield, California ESPC contract with guaranteed energy savings of more than $500,000 annually Scope included: Lighting retrofits in Center’s older buildings Reprogrammed and recommissioned systems Installed a windmill-driven mechanical pump to drain north basin Coordinating schedules with site personnel and subcontractors, along with maintaining timetables and providing communications to on-site operations team

Fort Hood Fort Hood, Texas Two-phase Super ESPC contract for energy conservation measures with guaranteed savings of $1.77 million annually Scope includes: Lighting Lighting Sensors Utility Monitoring and Control System (UMCS) LON platform covering 2.5 million square feet VFDs Service agreement to include on- site controls technicians and HVAC mechanics

Naval Aviation Depot Cherry Point, North Carolina UMCS contract to reduce energy costs and increase employee productivity Scope includes: Metasys® building management system to optimize energy consumption and maintain production schedules Placed meters at 72 major utility substations and connected them to Metasys to enable better information and real-time adjustments Established maintenance strategy through Metasys to free 3-4 full- time employees to perform higher- level tasks
