SCUBAPRO deep down you want the best deep down you want the best

Presenting the most impressive achievement by a 1st stage regulator…

On the 31 st August 2002, SCUBAPRO again made diving history.

We set the new World Record for the number of divers breathing simultaneously from one 1 st stage regulator.

How did we do it? 75 octos were rigged up through an elaborate hose and manifold system…

Setting up the rig…

And connected to a single SCUBAPRO Mk25 1 st stage,

And a 50 liter 300 bar BAUER cylinder…

Everyone descended together,

Going…

…gone!

75 divers 75 divers and some heavy breathing

Due to the extremely high flow, ice formed all over the cylinder, reg and hoses,

HOWEVER… the Mk25 didn’t stop delivering air and things began to settle down nicely.

Oops, we lost one.

Divers chilling out after a few minutes.

A little chilly after a few more minutes.

10 minutes 9 seconds later.

We’ve done it, a new World Record!

That’s very nice, but what does it actually mean?

It’s the equivalent of one diver breathing at 730 metres! Want to deep dive? This is the regulator for you.

It also explains why when coupled to our S600, this is the easiest breathing regulator on earth!

Well done to the SCUBAPRO Mk25 1 st stage, More air than you’ll ever need, deeper than you’ll ever go! deep down you want the best deep down you want the best
