Graduation Requirements (State Testing)  Ohio Graduation Test (OGT):  10 th grade students must pass all five portions of the test  Portions include:  Writing  Reading  Mathematics  Social Studies  Science  Students will have one opportunity in the fall and one in the spring of their junior and senior years, plus the summer to retake content areas not yet passed

Physical Education Waiver  Students may be excused from the physical education requirement for graduation by participating in the following for at least two seasons:  Athletics*  Marching band  Cheerleading  Participation in one full season cannot be combined with 0.25 credits of PE to meet the graduation requirement *NOTE: see the Bexley High School Physical Education Waiver handout for list of approved athletic activities / teams

Schedule Change Policy  Elective Change:  A student may drop a course within the first eight days of the semester  Dropping after this time period may result in the following reflected on the transcript:  ‘W’ (withdrawn)  ‘WF’ (Withdraw failing)  ‘WP’ (withdraw passing)  Level Change:  A student may change course levels between week 3 and 6 of the course  Level change will be reflected on the student’s transcript with the original course shown as a ‘W’ (withdraw)
