How do we as Catholics start our week off? We start our week off by attending and participating in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. In other words…We go to Mass.

How much of our lives do we owe to God?

How do we as Catholics begin each day? We begin each day in prayer. We pray “The Morning Offering.”

How do we as Catholics begin each day?

Then Bishop Baker will say: “Let’s pray ‘The Morning Offering’ together.” Oh Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you all my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Most Sacred Heart, in union with the most holy sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in reparation for my sins, for the intentions of all, and in particular, the Holy Father’s intensions. I wish to gain all the indulgences attached to the prayers I shall say and the good works I shall perform this day. Amen

Pray the Morning Offering by yourself:

What are the Ten Commandments I, the Lord, am your God. You shall have no other gods besides me. You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain. Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day. Honor your father and your mother. You shall not kill You shall not commit adultery You shall not Steal. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. You shall not coven you neighbor’s possessions.

Which Commandment really speaks to you? This is what I would say: The first commandment speaks to me because it tells us to love God the most. If we loved God the most all of the time, we would never break the other commandments. But you can choose any commandment you wish. Just have a reason.

What is Confirmation? Confirmation is sacrament of initiation in which the Bishop anoints the recipient on the forehead with chrism and the laying on of hands.
