2. "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets." (Mt 22:37-40)

3. The Third Commandment Remember to keep the Lord’s day holy

4. God freed the Jewish people from slavery in Egypt. As slaves they had no day of rest. Now that they were free of slavery, they would have a day to rest and thank God for their deliverance.

5. How do we keep the commandment?

6. We give back to God for all He has given us by attending Mass on Sundays Unlike the rest of the week, we make Sunday a day of rest, avoiding unnecessary work, shopping, etc.
