 A presentation by Krystal Ruiz Period 1

It has always been said that America is the “land of the free, and the home of the brave.” But sometimes I wonder if it really is free.

It the United States constitution, the “unalienable” rights of American citizens are listed: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

 Are aborted babies human citizens that deserve the unalienable rights?  Is a hate crime a violation of these rights and how?  Is there discrimination when it comes to getting into college or getting a job because of race, money, religion, or sexual orientation.

 Pro-lifers confront the U.N. about abortion saying it is an “Act of Violence.”  68,000 deaths annually

 Beginning of 2013 more and more hate crimes are reported to authorities because of ethnicity, disability, etc.

 Student Voices staff reporter, John Vettese speaks up about foreign students taking white students’ college opportunities.
