South Carolina’s 16 Career Clusters In the sixth and seventh grade students focus on career clusters and choose one that interests them most to research. In the eighth grade students choose a career cluster At the high school level students choose a major based on their career cluster of choice. District One schools offer many classes and majors based on the sixteen career clusters. The sixteen career clusters are listed below: Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources; Education and Training; Hospitality and Tourism; Manufacturing; Architecture and Construction; Finance; Human Services; Marketing, Sales, & Service; Arts, A/V Technology and Communications; Government and Public Administration; Information Technology; Science, Technology & Mathematics; Business Management and Administration; Health Science; Law, Public Safety and Security; Transportation, Distribution and Logistics District One Mission Statement: To educate all students in a safe and positive environment for the purpose of developing responsible and productive citizens by seeking constant improvement and innovation through mutual cooperation of home, school, and community.
