College Credit Classes You can earn college credit while still in high school by taking dual credit and AP classes. It is possible to complete your freshmen year of college while still in high school.
Career Opportunities Herndon Career Center and Summit Tech offer a variety of specialized classes to juniors and seniors. Placement in these schools is competitive and based on grades, attendance, and discipline.
Honors Lamp of Learning –On principals honor roll for 2 semesters. National Honor Society –Sophomores who have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA. Academic Letter –Students who earn a 3.5 for an entire school year.

Grades Report cards go out every 4 weeks and are mailed to the address students have on file. Students who do not maintain a 2.0 GPA or who have an F in any class will not be eligible to play a sport or participate in an activity.
