6 Zero Period Zero period frees up a period during the school day for you to take another class The ONLY class offered zero period is Physical Education / Health Not recommended for freshman Only consideration is if you are on the Honors Science track

12 Wrap Around Class- Honors Science Students
The classes below will meet 3 days per week and interlock with the 2 days per week for the science lab days. Band Orchestra Chorus Painting and Design Financial Literacy

13 Sports Study You can have a study hall in place of physical education only during the time that you are in a sport at NPHS. This option is only available for the sports offered at NPHS. If you have your health class during the same time you are in a sport, you have to go to your health class and will not have a study hall.

14 Attendance A student’s absence from classes scheduled for a course of study more than 10% of the days in which the class meets shall NOT receive credit for that course. In other words…a student absent from a class in excess of 9 days in a semester course, or in excess of 18 days in a full year course will receive NO credit for the course.

When you submit your requests make sure you have at least two electives and three alternates.

23 Student Responsibility
After you submit your requests in Powerschool: print the course selection sheet parent/guardian sign the form hand in form to your school counselor Mrs. Chrisostomides: A-L Mrs. McGeechan: M-Z

24 Form MUST be given to your middle school counselor by:
Monday, January 15th *If you do not plan on attending NPHS, you still need to hand in the course selection sheet.
