Thoughts on VALUES Why do values change as we get older or change in our lives? What happens in life that causes us to change our values? How can you tell what someone’s values are? – Think of a person…. Describe someone who doesn’t have any values

What Should Susie Do? Susie and her family just moved to a new town. Susie is lonely and doesn’t seem to be making any friends. She finally met a group of girls at lunch and they have asked her to go to a party with them on Friday night. Susie was having a great time at the party until her new friends started to smoke. They asked her to join them and Susie doesn’t know what to do. These are the only friends she has made.

DECIDE PROCESS Is it SAFE? Is it LEGAL? Is it HEALTHY Does it RESPECT myself and others? Does it follow my PARENTS guidelines? if your answer to any of the questions is… NO: you may suffer the unhealthy consequences! YES: than it probably is a healthy choice to make!
