Do you want to find out what it is and how you can use it? The OmniGlobe is coming to your school!!!!!

What is the OmniGlobe? It is a 32” spherical display, that can be used K- 12. It is typically used to strengthen science and social studies standards lessons but the uses are limitless! It has been donated to the school district by the Erion Foundation and for the rest of this school year, Andy Kaufman the OmniGlobe TOSA will be with it to help you use it.

What are some of the topics? Science Weather – Current satellite data – Hurricanes – Clouds Geology – Plate Movement – Earthquakes / Volcanoes – Colorado History Astronomy – Planets – Seasons Social Studies Longitude / Latitude Time zones Demographic maps – Population – GDP – Much more! How does the program work? 1.Andy Kaufman the OmniGlobe TOSA will set up the OmniGlobe at your school. 2.You sign up for a time to use the OmniGlobe. 3.Andy Kaufman will show you how to use the computer for the OmniGlobe. – It is easy, I promise. 4.You get to do the teaching with the OmniGlobe and Andy Kaufman can be there to help you with teaching the content and/or using the computer. 5.It will be a don’t sweat it atmosphere, and the kids will love it!

(recommended) – 30 minutes: Kindergarten – 2 nd – 45 minutes: 3 rd – 5 th : – 6 th – 12 th will depend on the lesson you are teaching but most likely 30 – 60 minutes. All times can be longer or shorter to fit your needs or you may want to sign up for multiple time slots if you plan to teach several topics.
