Density – Sinking or Floating

Density Density is the amount of matter in a given amount of space. Mass is measured on an electronic balance in either kilograms or grams.

Understanding density 0.02 g/mL 1.0 g/mL 2.0 g/mL 3.0 g/mL The lower the density, it floats to the top. If its in between densities then its in between other objects of lower and higher densities. The higher the density, it sinks.
