About Sarah E Goode  Sarah E Goode was a inventor.  She made a cabinet bed.  She was the very first African American to have a patent.

Slavery and Sarah E Goode's life  Sarah was born into slavery in  She had to go though many obstacles during her life only because she was a African American and a woman.

inventions  Sarah E Goode made a cabinet bed  later she was the very first african american to revice a patent [person to buy her item.

After freed from slavery  after civil war Sarah was freed and moved to Chicago where she opened a furniture store.

Conclusion  Even though Sarah E Goode was a African American she was a great person.
