Accurately describe how cells get nutrients and oxygen.

First you eat the food. Then you swallow the food and it goes down your throat or inhale down to your lungs. The lung transfers the oxygen and the nutrients from your stomach through your intestine wall to the red blood cells in the blood stream. The cell picks up the oxygen and the nutrients from the red blood cells.

Accurately describe how cells get rid of carbon dioxide.

The cell needs to release Carbon Dioxide so it can take in Oxygen. The cell turns sugar and fat into energy using oxygen. In this process it also produces Carbon Dioxide. It now has to release the Carbon Dioxide so it has room for the oxygen and so it won’t rupture.

Accurately describe how cells get rid of solid and liquid waste.

Liquid waste, then takes waste to the blood stream. Next, it goes to the kidney to clean it and then to the bladder to deliver it out the body.

Accurately identify the tissues, organs, and organ systems involved in these processes in the previous questions.

Nutrients and oxygen: Lungs, red blood tissue, heart, respiratory system, and circulatory system. Carbon Dioxide: Cardiac tissue, Lung Tissue, Epithelial Tissue Blood Tissue, heart, lung, epithelial, respiratory system, and circulatory system. Wastes: Blood tissue, connective tissue, epithelial tissue, muscle tissue, stomach, intestines, anus

Realistically describe what might happen to the body to prevent cells from getting/get rid of at least one of these things.

If the body got lung cancer, lung cells would start to die and the lungs would not be able to get oxygen to help the body do its job.
