 People who develop & maintain staffing systems.  Main functions; ◦ Keep employee’s records ◦ Assist in employee benefits, e.g. leave application, etc.

 Evolved as functions of personnel managers expanded.  What do HR Managers do? 1. Ensure suitable workers are chosen for each job. 2. Find the best way for each of them to do each job they are responsible for. 3. Train the workforce on how to perform in the best way. 4. Protect workers and their rights.
