Worth.25 credits per year  Students should use AO effectively, therefore lobbying in the hallways is not allowed. Sorry!  Everyone will check-in with their advisor before going to work with other teachers and/or students  Available work places:  Advisor classrooms  Cafeteria (for group projects)  All classrooms  All labs  Library

Pass System o Teachers will have a certain number of passes that they will be able to distribute among their students. o These passes allow students to leave their advisor during AO time and seek help from another teacher.

F.A.Q. o Will I not get A.O. credit if I miss a single day? o Just like Advisor, students will need to meet a specific Participation Percentage o For that attendance requirement is 80% o What if all my work is already done? o Then A.O. time is an opportunity for students to read a book, the newspaper, help a fellow student with homework o How is A.O. Different from having advisor every day?  A.O. is fairly open worktime, as opposed to advisor which is more structured.

Other Questions? o Feel free to send an to Mrs. Stroud o Post your question on the CV Academic Options Facebook group! We hope you understand next year’s schedule a bit better. Let’s make the best of AO time! ~ AO Student Committee
