A- POSSESSIVE PRONOUNS: Substituindo a construção possessive adjective + subtantivo, para evitar repetições. Ex.: My car is yellow, but THEIRS is blue. Após preposições, quando o elemento posterior não for um substantivo. Ex.: His house is similar to OURS. Precedido de OF (“um dos..., uma das...”) Ex.: I saw a cousin of YOURS this morning.
