Mentoring is the process by which those with more experience provide advice, support, and knowledge to those with less experience. Mentors possess the wisdom that only experience can provide, and share it with Protégés who are truly interested in expanding their depth of knowledge in Public Procurement

Develop Future Public Procurement Professionals and Leaders Mentors are able to share their invaluable knowledge Address Aging Workforce Adds Value to Public Procurement Profession Foster Professional Relationships Enhance Protégé knowledge/core capabilities in Public Procurement

Discuss career goals, paths, challenges and possibilities Discuss current public procurement issues/changes to law Be a sounding board Attend a business/board meeting with mentor Practice interviewing/presentation skills Assist with certification process and prep for testing
