PPW Background Established in 1988, works as a wing of Pakistan Association, Dubai The structure of the organisation is (all voluntary): Chairman (works through a one member admin. staff on payroll) Vice Chairman (normally the next Chairman) Executive Committee (supervisory body of members) Committees (7 committees formed around the detailed objectives Committees are the main engine of the organisation Current membership is 130 professionals

PPW - Objectives Promote social, professional and intellectual activities for Pakistanis residing in the UAE Improve and enhance the image of Pakistan through better communication and understanding with other nationalities in particular UAE nationals Assist Associations of Pakistanis in the UAE in the fulfillment of their objectives Support educational institutions, activities and charitable causes in general and specially for the benefit of Pakistanis Work for and promote the interest of Pakistan and its citizens Enhance and enlarge the scope of participation of Pakistani Professional in the economic development of Dubai in particular, and the whole of the UAE Keep in touch with the developments in Pakistan and to invite prominent Pakistanis in the professional fields for the purpose of arranging symposia, seminars and lectures in the UAE Hold symposia, workshops and seminars for Pakistanis themselves on various technical subjects.

Financial Assistance Program

Criteria Merit – Last 3 years student records will be reviewed. The student will be required to maintain a minimum grade to continue receiving financial assistance. Process PPW will inform Principals of all Pakistani Schools about the program by 20 th May. An awareness session will be held on the 28 th of May.
