Profile Carel van laack Carel van laack (53) is a professional consultant, trainer and coach. His primary focus is in helping managers to maximise the contribution of individuals and teams in the context of their business environment. He is familiar with the private sectors of business including multi-nationals and has worked extensively in Retail; Finance; Telecom; Document Management and Manufacturing. Following his studies and his military service (Officer in the Reconnaissance Service of the SADF ), Carel held commercial and senior management positions at Olivetti Africa in South Africa, Sharp Electronics Benelux, Sharp Corporation of New Zealand and Lexmark International in the Netherlands .

Profile Carel van laack Carel has studied Economics at the University of the Witwatersrand where he received his B.A. degree.  All Carel’s courses receive excellent feedback and the accolade that he can take theories and apply them into real life. In addition to delivering leadership and management development workshops Carel also spends time in 1:2:1 coaching at all levels and take an action-based perspective – reflection is fine but coaching needs to result in actions. He has worked in 11 different countries: encompassing continental Europe; Oceana and Africa. Carel serves on the supervisory boards of a number of smaller Dutch companies.  4
