Highlights from 2016 Royal LePage won Canada’s Volunteer Award as Business Leader National Garage Sale for Shelter raised more than $220,000 We sold more Shelter Blooms than ever before – 53,000 “Royal LePage Red” tulip bulbs were planted across Canada $125,000 raised at National Sales Conference $47,000 raised for Fort McMurray

For your information: Key statistics related to shelters and domestic violence in Canada On a given night in 2016, 6,000 women and children sought refuge in a shelter to escape domestic violence (100,000 admissions last year) It’s estimated that 1 in 4 women worldwide will experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime 67% of Canadians know a woman who has been abused 51% of adult women will experience at least one violent incident 362,000+ children witness their mother being abused 1 in 3 teenagers have experienced dating violence Every six days in Canada, on average, a woman is murdered by her current or former partner Each year, Canadians collectively spend $7.4 billion to deal with the aftermath of spousal violence
