Why do we need new Members? A strong membership makes for a strong Council. It helps keep a Council vibrant. New members bring new ideas. It allows a Council to continue doing the good works that it does for both the community and the Church. It provides for future viability of the Council. Why do we need new Members?

Where can we find new members? Everywhere Where can we find new members? Family, Friends, Parishioners, Co-Workers Squires, Council Events, Community Events

What brings new members to us? Benefits to our members Our Insurance Program Our pastors Our wives, families and friends Our Programs!!!!! What brings new members to us?

How do we attract new members? Through our activities… Family Activities Church Activities Community Activities Youth Activities We are known by what we do. How do we attract new members?

Where do we need to go from here? Forward….we need to realize that programs and membership work hand in hand In fact….. Programs Reflect Membership And Membership Reflects Programs Where do we need to go from here?

When should we begin recruiting new members? Now Is your council closed for the summer? Online membership Is your council operating but no First Degree in the area. First Degree video at your General Meeting. Follow this up with taking your new member to the next First Degree (team) in your area. Recruitment…7 days a week, 365 days a year. When should we begin recruiting new members?

Recruitment MEMBERSHIP DRIVES OPEN HOUSE/INFORMATION NIGHT COUNCIL PROGRAMS/EVENTS ONLINE MEMBERSHIP SPONSORSHIP (Proposer/Mentor) FIRST DEGREE AT GENERAL MEETING (video or read the roles) FIRST DEGREE IN YOUR AREA (conducted by a First Degree Team) Recruitment

ENLIST THE ASSISTANCE OF YOUR FRATERNAL BENEFITS ADVISOR For example conduct an Information Night. Invite parishioners or bring a friend. Challenge your councils! Each executive member recruits one member this fraternal year Each District strives for two STAR councils Each council has at least two membership drives, gaining at least 5 prospects from each event. Each council tries to get each incentive that we offer. Challenge your councils!
