5 Membership Experience
We all need to focus on creating a best-in-class membership experience. Begin and end with the member in mind. Need to give clear, consistent value to the member. We will be looking for your input and expertise as this develops.

6 How To Run A State Convention
Try different things to encourage more councils to participate! Have activities for the ladies and families Give your General Agent and Field Agents a role

7 How To Run A Church Drive
Church drives work…if done the right way! Lead by example. Show councils how to do it right! Pick the right people. Don’t ask bad public speakers to deliver the pulpit announcement. Anticipate objections and be prepared to answer them. Follow up on those prospect cards!

8 Working With Your Pastor
Father is the key to everything. Engage with him. Put yourself in his shoes. Know what he’s thinking. Actions speak louder than words. Talk to him about Faith in Action. Be in service to him and the parish.

9 Faith In Action Make Implementing Faith In Action in all of your councils a top priority! Good programs lead to healthy councils, strong membership growth, and great retention. Have your DDs sure track and report on council program participation! Have your State Program Director implement a program tracker using a mock SP-7 report. Make it a priority to have councils submit their Annual Survey of Fraternal Activities on time. Keep an eye out for an upcoming webinar this December on how to complete the new Annual Survey.

10 Hispanic Growth and Development
Engaging with Hispanic community is not an option. Have – or replace – a Hispanic Coordinator by December 1. Task him with launching a robust Hispanic Outreach program. Have him reach out to District Deputies to help identify opportunities for Hispanic growth and NCD. Leverage Supreme Council resources, such as the upcoming conference call for all Hispanic Coordinators. Clearly demonstrate that this is a priority. Convene a dedicated meeting on Hispanic growth by the end of the year.

11 Young Adult Growth and Development
Young Adult Growth and Development begins with the State Deputies. Demonstrate that is a high priority! …And by young adults - we mean men 18-40! Name a College Council Coordinator by January 1. Use the job description provided. Recruit young adult team members (at least one per diocese or large metro area) and meet with and train them in the new year. Use the job description provided. Identify two events specifically for young adults that you can either promote/run and sponsor this Winter and Spring.

12 Creating A Prospecting Culture In Your Jurisdiction
Train your councils how to prospect at events. Get them to request a prospect landing page to streamline the process. Notify them of the opportunity by sending the announcement that we will provide. Lead by example. Use the landing pages at your own statewide events, such as Men’s conferences. Talk to them about it at your mid-year organizational meetings – and make sure they know who your Online Membership Coordinator is and how he can help.

13 Safe Environment Follow the 5-Point Action Plan:
SECURE 100% State Officer and Director Compliance LEARN how to use the Praesidium Armatus Administration Dashboard. DELEGATE responsibility for compliance to your advocate and directors. ENSURE that councils submit their Form 185 and Form 365. FOLLOW-UP directly with non-compliant members by using the information on the Praesidium Armatus Administration Dashboard throughout the year

14 Ceremonials – What’s Your Magic Number?
When we have first degrees, we have new members. Using the average number of candidates at first degrees in your jurisdiction, you and your state family can identify a minimum number of degrees needed to hit your Circle of Honor intake goals. Manage to that number! Appoint a “hold accountable” officer to hold district deputies accountable for scheduling and reporting on degrees. We’ll provide an and material to help. Schedule time for a conference call with your “hold accountable” officer and your DDs to gain momentum and demonstrate priority. Promote degrees through all available media. Challenge councils that haven’t recruited to rekindle the vision and mission.
