What needs are missing Journey to retirement (it’s missing in the journey mapping) Members (and Section Chairs) are Unaware of all the Resources that IEEE USA and Region have to offer Use of social media to a greater extent Enhance Writing, Communication, and Other Soft Skills Incentivize Resume lab for the Mid-career transition Technical Writing Need a Mentoring Network For Active Members in the Industry For Consultants and Entrepreneurs

What could the region do? Provide more training opportunities to Chapter and Affiliate Chairs. Active members are not aware of resources. Enhance flow down of resources like Distinguished Lecturer Series. Best Practices. Better Communication Provide Opportunity networking between the section and the Region. We need to share information. Region Collaboration. Provide a suggestion in the Transition Map. (Similar to Amazon “suggestion”) Focus on Mentoring among members.
