Princeton Central Jersey Hemant Vora Legal Issues for Technical, Business & Management Professionals Being a technical institute of engineers, the IEEE members at large are not familiar with legal issues in business environment. In general, a large number of engineering & business pro are employed, and do not have direct access to legal experts. This event will provide an opportunity to the local members to gain knowledge on current legal issues during emplyment, or when they are dealing with counter parts. Through interactions with the experts, the participants should also be able to know the options and resources available to them in case of future needs NJ Coast Dru Reynolds Robot Challenge NJ 2017 To offer High School Students the opportunity to compete in an activity that aligns with Common Core Principals in a competitive experience which strengthens their skills in the following areas: Teamwork - Collaboration - Creativity - Design - Layout - Wiring - Programming - Soldering - Drilling - Writing - Oral Presentation - Buffalo Mary Christ Sustainable Business EXPO To provide exposure for IEEE members are seeking employment in the green energy field.,It is to increase the professional exposure of the IEEE Buffalo section in the Western New York area. IEEE membership and general information will be made available to the public This includes other.engineers, architects, and installers and public officials and stake holders.. Binghamton Vince Socci UAV Drone Pilot Safety Training and Licensing Prep Course Drone operations are becoming more commonplace in society. Any adult may purchase a drone for hobby operation, and may choose to pursue licensing for commercial operation. The FAA has recently issued rules for drone registration, pilot licensure, and operation. However, many users and technologists, including IEEE members, are unaware of these regulations and are not following them. There are also safety and licensing concerns with drone operation that are not known or understood by the average citizen. As IEEE has the mission to advance technology for humanity, there is an opportunity for IEEE to take a leadership role in preparing its members and the general public to be knowledgeable users of drone technology through the implementation of a safety and licensing preparation course. A course is being developed to provide our members with professional skills and safe operating certification.

4 Future Leaders Forum The next FLF will beheld in Austin, TX in late July 2017 FLF is focused on developing Students and YPs into future IEEE leaders FLF will be held every two years FLF replaces the IEEE-USA Annual Meetings
