Promoting Inter-disciplinary Research Grants Academy: Conversations on ……. Promoting Inter-disciplinary Research Working Group reported on how interdisciplinary research is encouraged and supported at Aberdeen. Recommendation to establish a coherent framework for enabling and supporting IDR, under strong academic leadership. The Grants Academy will provide professional support to IDR activities, informing, training, facilitating horizon scanning, challenge and review sessions and supporting the development of bids and collaborations.
