Constituent League Annual Report NLN Constituent League Leadership Committee Webinar Series

Annual Report: Overview Reports are due to NLN at the end of January each year Shows the state of the League Determines status of League each year

Purpose Ensure Leagues are meeting the Affiliation Guidelines & Standards Evaluate each League’s Strategic Plan Assess the financial health of each League

Affiliation Guidelines & Standards Promote the products and services of the NLN Promote faculty development and quality nursing education at the state/local level Serve as a monitor for public policy issues at the constituent level Identify, recruit, engage, and develop members for constituent and national leadership Develop alliances at the constituent level to advance quality nursing education Serve as a channel of communication among the NLN and the league’s members Guidelines: Adopt national uniform bylaws Implement Affiliation Standards Implement a COI policy Adopt financial policies Conduct a year-end audit Meet state and national tax filing requirements Adopt lobbying guidelines Adopt NLN communication standards Submit annual report Standards:

Requirements Submit an Annual Report with the following supporting documents: membership list prior year proposed & actual budget, coming year proposed budget strategic plan from past year with progress noted current year strategic plan list of elected officers and board of directors with terms
