Over the Summer Ask these questions to yourself: Can your child dress and undress independently? Can they go to the toilet independently? Can they write their name? Can they count to 10? Can they use a knife and fork? Are you letting them become independent?
Over the Summer With Your Child Complete the holiday challenge. Share the getting ready for school booklet. Practice writing their first name. Practice counting to 10. Sing nursery rhymes. Share books/magazines. Talk about what they are experiencing.
Play and Stay Session 5th, 6th and 7th September Help your child find their peg and tray. Help them explore the classroom. Encourage them to be independent. Ask the staff any questions you have thought of over the summer.
Play and Stay Session Your child will need: Named book bag with a key ring on so they recognise it belongs to them Named P.E. kit in a P.E. bag Named wellies, raincoat and a sunhat Named water bottle
Part Time 10th – 21st September 8.40am-1.00pm which includes lunch 1.30pm-3.15pm Say goodbye to your child at the door, so they are ready to learn as soon as they walk in the door.
Full Time 24th September 2018 8.40am – 3.15pm
