Ms. Ruhl’s Class Classroom Newsletter April 19th, 2019 Dates to Remember Classroom News Congratulations to our friend---Ellie---for being chosen as Student of the Week and for modeling Sportsmanship. We will also be celebrating her as student of the week next week! Thank you for sending in all field trip money in! We are excited for our field trip. All chaperones have been notified. There is a waiting list so if a chaperone is unable to attend I will notify the parents that are next in line! Thank you to Mrs. Dolan for drawing our names! Please continue to send in your box tops! In ELA we will be identifying contractions and we have been focusing on listening and reading different types of poetry. We are also taking a look at research project tools, like PebbleGo—in prep for our animal research projects. I will begin to assess students on reading levels for spring soon. Students are growing and becoming more confident readers everyday! In math, we have started with module 6. We are currently revisiting place value and adding/subtracting numbers up to 120.
