According to Port Orange An I-95/Pioneer Trail interchange is necessary to alleviate the traffic congestion at the I-95/Dunlawton Avenue interchange. However, SVRTS Concluded that Interchanges provide access, not capacity. Professional Transportation Planners (PTPs) Proposed I-95 interchanges at both Madeline Avenue and Pioneer Trail provided primarily access at those points but very little traffic relief for the I-95/Dunlawton Avenue interchange Proposed I-95 interchanges at both Madeline Avenue and Pioneer Trail provided primarily access at those points but very little traffic relief for the I-95/Dunlawton Avenue interchange Proposed interchange at Pioneer Trail would cause the roads east of I-95 in New Smyrna Beach to fail by Proposed interchange at Pioneer Trail would cause the roads east of I-95 in New Smyrna Beach to fail by 2030.
